Dewatering of the Nieuwpoort Lock in Veurne Completed Successfully

Last week, Argo Diving Services was asked to assist with the dewatering of the Nieuwpoort lock in Veurne. Our diving team supported the operation by guiding the steel stoplogs into the correct recesses and checking that they were properly seated.

Once in place, we inspected the remaining seepage points and helped ensure that the structure was sufficiently sealed. With the leaks addressed, the contractor was able to proceed with the dewatering process as planned. By the end of the day, the lock stood dry, allowing the project to continue without interruption. We were glad to contribute to this phase of the work and to support the team on site.
