ARGO DVING UNRAVELS THE KNOT!
During a recent operation in Ostend, we encountered a situation where a rope had become entangled in the propeller of a fishing boat.
The rope was not only wrapped around the propeller but had also gotten stuck underneath the rope guard.
To resolve this and guaranty a safe sailing, we had to remove the rope guard first, remove the rest of the rope and then weld the rope guard back into its place. Our skilled team handled the task with precision, ensuring the boat was back in working order swiftly and safely.
Jan. 2025

We successfully removed the core without delaying the active installation.

Argo Diving has obtained the certificate of Bureau Veritas and Lloyd’s Register! This means that we comply with international standards for underwater inspections. Both organizations are globally recognized certification organizations that help companies meet standards in various areas, such as:
Quality management
Safety standards
Environment
Maritime standards
To reduce costs and downtime to shipowners, Underwater Inspection in Lieu of Dry-docking (UWILD) is a well-known method of surveying the underwater parts of a ship while it is still afloat instead of having a dry-dock for examination.
With Bureau Veritas and Lloyd’s Register, we wish to further expand and optimise our services and deliver the necessary quality to our clients.
Don’t hesitate to contact us.

This operation is done for maintenance, repairs, cleaning or when a vessel needs to be transported over land.
Divers attach lifting straps at strategic points on the boat and constantly communicate with the surface team. Once the straps are securely fastened, the yacht or workboat is slowly lifted out of the water using a crane or lifting system. This process showcases the skills and craftsmanship of the professionals involved.
Do you have any specific questions about this topic or would you like to know more about a particular aspect of yacht lifting? Let us know!

Following to this, we worked closely with the dredging company to ensure all necessary safety measures were implemented. Once the working area was secured, our diving team swiftly got to work. Using our expertise and precision, we successfully repaired the damaged seal, restoring it to optimal condition.
The before-and-after pictures clearly show the results of the repair, demonstrating the care and professionalism we bring to every task.
